- Login to Ciena Learning and search for your exam name and click enter. This example shows CEA-X in the search field, or search by “certification exam” to quickly find a list of all available exams.
- This screen displays. Click the Add to Cart button.
- The message in the green box then appears above the Add to Cart button and at the top of the screen a cart icon will appear. Click the cart icon to go to the payment portion of the transaction.
- The Shopping Cart screen displays. Click the Proceed to Checkout button to select payment method.
- Select a payment on the left and, fill in the necessary information associated with the selected type of payment. If applicable the Apply Discount Code with the necessary information. Then click the Place Order button at the bottom right of the screen.
- Once the transaction completes the following window appears. Within one business day you will receive an email from learning@ciena.com with your receipt and the instructions to access your exam.

To use your company's Purchase Order (PO) or Ciena Training credits during the purchase process, please enter that information for your organization when prompted. If you do not know it, please purchase the training with the "Other" form of payment. Your purchase will remain in pending until it is verified by the Ciena team. You will be notified by Ciena once it is verified.
If you do not have a company Purchase Order or Ciena Training Credits, use a credit card to purchase training and once processed you will receive immediate access to your purchased training.
